Hide it! - Hide the "round in the face"  and it's no longer round!  It' up to you you can go for the classic lookof beauty or use fashion forward  trends. Both work to solve this problem.

Bangs can cut off the "round" or the top half of the circle or be so long they give a diagonal line that distracts form the round look - and yes it takes some getting used to but  you can learn to work with them the eyes if you try.

Keep the sides close by the equator of the face or bring hair on the sides straight down hiding equator under the hair and making face appear smaller at the sides. If hair is shorter cut sides straight  where you are going to place darker foundation to draw in the area just under your cheek bones. 

Add hair under the equator & around the neck - if possible have weight below the equator add "hair fringes" around the neck

Work with straight vertical, diagonal or horizontal lines to break up the round shape. Bangs can be used to hide the top part of a round face. Long bangs can be used to hide the entire side of a round face.
